I'm what Henry Jenkins terms an aca-fan about a select few authors - Jane Austen included. What this means is I'll read her letters to her sister Cassandra, critical editions of her works, and other texts typical of a literature scholar, but I'll also read
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Needless to say, I'm often disappointed by what I see, but I always get excited when I hear of anything new and Austen related, so this just makes me happy:
